Local shops: discover your neighbourhood businesses
Ideas for shopping locally and discovering bakeries, greengrocers, hair salons and other neighbourhood businesses with Auzoko.
What is local shopping?
It means using the shops and services around you: the greengrocer you visit each week, the bakery on your way to work or your neighbourhood hair salon. Shopping nearby also gives you a chance to ask about products and meet the people selling them.
Plan a shopping walk
Start with what you need and group together stops you can reach on foot. Check opening hours before leaving and bring a reusable bag. Ask businesses directly about seasonal products, orders or specific services, as availability can change.
